Since its modest origins in the 1980s, the Christian music genre has radically evolved. The Christian music genre has grown from ska-style songs such as “Jesus Is My Friend” by Sonseed and “I Feel So Alive” by Capital Kings.
Rock, country, rap, and praise music are all kinds of Christian music that exist today. In light of this, we present a list of three lesser-known Christian singers who, I believe, can garner your attention this year. Here are several artists you may not be familiar with but who merit your attention:
Christopher Howland
Howland disproves the notion that Christian pop songs are “stuck in the 1980s” by composing modern house music and rhythmic EDM music that does not sound like Abba and The Pointer Sisters. “I’ll Remember This,” his one collaboration with Christian producer and singer Matthew Parker.

Where Can One Locate New Christian Musicians?
Clearly, Christian music is broadening its horizons and, in my view, its compositional talents are much better than those of its secular rivals. The Christian rapper NF’s song “Let You Down” is a big hit in several countries, including the United States.
Cross Nation is a Christian YouTube channel showcasing lesser-known artists such as Marshall Marshall and Jeremy James Whitaker. This channel is also a terrific music resource for Christians.
